Challenge
Create a new website for me as a professional WordPress website designer and Divi Theme expert. As I already had an existing website / portfolio, that I created when I started to do design jobs, this website was totally outdated and I even specialized myself since then. When I started, I also did some print jobs or even logo design, but now I totally focused on website design. Therefore I needed a new branding, color scheme, typography and design system.
Solution
First of all I decided to use a brand name that fits and includes my name, Andy and refers to what I am doing. As I am a responsive website designer and include development service, I decided to include user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) into my name: uixandy. I then needed a new logo and design system, including color scheme and typography.
Website Design
Personal and brand-oriented design
First of all I implemented the new logo and created a new color scheme existing of Teal and Green and different gradients. I then looked for two different font-types that match together and fit to the brand design I wanted. My decision went to Sansation for headlines and Livvic for paragraphs. Then I started with the structure and design of the homepage, which should include several modules: About Me, Services, How I Work, Call to Action, Success Stories and contact form. I emphasized on building trust by using personal images of me and give a lot of information about myself and what I love to do in my free time, as well how my working process looks like. I wanted the website to look clean and professional and to be as user-friendly as possible. Another important thing for me was transparency, I want the potential customer to see how I work, which tools I use and how that benefits him, if he choses me instead of other freelancers or agencies. My service emphasizes on efficiency and conversion-driven websites that help the client to reach their goals.

Divi Custom Theme Development
The website is developed with a Divi custom theme perfectly customized for all my needs. It contains custom page templates that contain all designed modules and pages.
New pages, products and posts can be build with the user-friendly drag and drop page builder with custom blocks! Everything designed and developed for custom needs with own development version of the website to freely edit the content before pushing it to live (only in a custom support & hosting plan)!
